French Polynesia consists of five island groups of volcanic origin; the Society Islands, the Marquesas, Tuamotu, Gambier and the Austral Ridge. French Polynesia is located in the heart of the Pacific about a 6 hour flight from Los Angeles and approximately 7 hours flight from Australia and New Zealand.
French Polynesia is one off the Pacific's favorite tourist destinations for yacht charter, with popular destinations such as the islands of Tahiti, Bora Bora, Moorea and Rangiroa.
A sailing yacht charter vacation in Tahiti, French Polynesia, is the best way to explore this paradise. And the only way to completely appreciate the Islands of Tahiti, is on a catamaran yacht charter. A sailing yacht charter will provide you with a unique opportunity to explore the Polynesian Islands, which are otherwise, difficult to get around. Charter guests have been captured by the beauty and romance of French Polynesia.

Navigation conditions :
From April to November Ideal sailing conditions for yacht charter can be experienced with sunny weather and good easterly trade winds. Navigation in the leeward islands is easy, with relatively short distances between islands. Lagoon entrances are well marked with buoys. The area is not tidal, making for very easy yacht charter.
